Sylvia Leontaritis is a children’s and freelance writer. Her work has appeared in The Handmaiden journal, The Orthodox Observer, and on Ancient Faith Radio. You can sometimes find her blogging over on The Sounding, a blog sponsored by the Orthodox Christian Network.Sylvia is also a food writer for the online magazine, Blissfully Domestic: The Smart Girl's Guide to Life and an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

Sylvia lives on a small farm in Florida with her husband and their three
sons. When she's not changing diapers or tending the animals
(non-children ones), she can be found fiddling in the garden, knitting
or scribbling down story ideas.
A Pocketful of Seeds is her first children’s book. She is currently working on her next project.
